The DOT (Department Of Transportation) Specialist ensures that Doctor Services is compliant with state and federal DOT guidelines. Enters Driver’s daily logs into Log Checker; maintains accurate Driver Qualification files for engineers/drivers; updates DOT Summary Report daily; and responds to drivers and managers accurately and timely regarding DOT rules and regulations.

Requires excellent customer service, verbal skills, and demonstrates problem solving and strategic thinking skills. Candidates should be proficient specifically in Microsoft Office.  The ability to handle situations calmly and logically, ensuring appropriate communications to involved parties is required. Experience and understanding of DOT regulations needed. The ability to work over-time and weekends as requested is also required.
